Start planning your project
We provide a broad range of sequencing services for genetic research, from extraction of high molecular weight DNA to analysis completion of a sequencing project. Every project involves planning, and we have a broad area of expertise to help you on your way towards a project setup: from sample collection to choosing an appropriate sequencing application. Meetings are free of charge and non-binding. Simply register your request in the NGI order portal, and you will be contacted by one of our project coordinators shortly.
From project design to publication
Request a meeting
Uppsala Genome Center offers individual project meetings, free of charge, to discuss the optimal sequencing strategy for your project. You can easily request a meeting through the NGI Order portal.
Submit project description
When your project design is ready you may submit your project in the NGI Order portal. It will then be evaluated and your project setup will be reviewed. After you receive a confirmation, a project code and a quotation from us you will be able to submit your samples.
Await the completion of your project
When the samples arrive they will go through a quality check to make sure they reach the quality standard necessary for sequencing. Once the samples pass quality check, the sequencing service will begin, according to your order.
Start analyzing the data
After sequencing, the yield and quality of the data are monitored using various QC steps to make sure that the data meet our high standards. The data is subsequently made available to you on a secure delivery resource hosted by SNIC-UPPMAX.
Write article and publish
We are happy to provide you with information on the lab procedures and data processing for the Materials & Methods section for your manuscript. Please remember to acknowledge Uppsala Genome Center in your manuscript.
